We just love the crispness of the mornings, the crunch of the fallen leaves under our feet and golden tones of the season. As the season changes we’re waving goodbye to a truly rollercoaster of a year.
At the beginning of the year Tivvi the Teardrop was again featured in the second ‘Ade in Britain’ series on ITV.
Around the same time, we were approached by Heal’s department store on Tottenham Court Road. Tivvi was in their flagship showroom for six weeks as part of their spring promotion.
With Crabbies still showing on national TV with our Classic Teardrop in the back ground, an appearance on stage with the wonderful Alan Titchmarsh, a live appearance on Channel 4 in Sunday Brunch and then our Toyhauler with Good Morning ITV with Laurence Llewelyn Bowen, it has been a busy time.
More recently, we’ve had many enquiries asking if our caravans can be used in a commercial role, i.e. as catering trailers.
We’ve also converted classic English vintage caravans into catering trailers.
If you’d like more information on other areas of work we carry out on caravans both old vintage and new build, please let us know.
British Street Food Awards 2013
Last year we built a Classic Teardrop with a genuine wood burning pizza oven. In September this year, amongst entries from all over Europe, it was awarded the title of ‘Best Looking Mobiler 2013’ by the British Street Food Awards. It was an amazing achievement and with the event held at a fantastic venue in London it became quite a memorable weekend. Well done to Rich & Kate, owners of Tinderbox.
