FAB Festivals are delighted to announce an exciting addition to the UK festival calendar. The Cotswold Christmas Food and Drink Festival, 28th-30th November 2014, celebrates the very best festive food and drink. The event provides the perfect platform for local farming as well as food and drink businesses to promote their products and services to the residents of the Cotswolds and wider community.
The Cotswolds, one of England’s favourite destinations is as famous for the hundreds of honey colour limestone villages as it is for its top quality local produce, award winning restaurants and creative chefs. Visitors will be able to see top chefs put their individual twists on Christmas classics, indulge in a variety of food and drink tastings and have the chance to find unique ingredients and foodie gifts in the Christmas Food and Drinks Marquees. There will be a fantastic selection of real ales and craft beers on offer as well as mulled wines and ciders to keep everyone warm whilst listening to festive choirs and music. Other attractions include book signings, an ice rink and of course Santa’s grotto to ensure the whole family are entertained.
”Fantastic to have a winter food festival in such glorious Cotswold surroundings. To bring together our stunning food economy with amazing landscape and heritage is a match of star quality. I look forward to this event.”
Rob Rees, The Cotswold Chef, MBE
