Beautiful and rare vintage truck converted from a cattle truck into a fully working kitchen 2 years ago. (I believe there are only 1 or 2 of these in the country!)
Kitchen space is 3m long x 2m wide and 2m high. (Huge compared to a Citreon H van!) The truck overall with the back hatch down is approx. 5.5m long
It has a full length serving hatch to the front of the truck with a removable wooden shelf for condiments/menus, as well as an extra hatch/serving space at the back. (The back opens out an extra metre of floor space and canopy, currently with a removable serving/storage surface. The gas canisters are stored under here when the truck is in use) It’s brilliant additional space that not many street food trucks have!
Along the back wall is a Parry two burner gas hob unit, a Parry gas griddle with 3 section burners and fat drainer tray. Storage cupboards underneath (fully certified double gas regulator and fuse box are housed under here) A deep sink with 2 sections (for washing up & hand washing) with a Triton electric water heater above it and a 40lt water tank below it in a cupboard.
To the front is an Apollo double salad bar fridge with external temp control, and a Lincat Bain Marie (both electric), a cupboard for storage/bin, 2 further half size cupboards (over the wheel arch) and 2 drawers. Topped with a stainless steel serving surface. 1 x double electrical socket.
All the gas appliances can be isolated and the propane tanks can be set up either on the back hatch or there is a flap to feed the pipe outside, if you do this you will need a gas tank safety cage.
The truck is in fully mechanical working order, left hand manual drive. It runs on unleaded petrol with lead replacement…. It’s MOTed and taxed until September 2016. It’s been a very reliable runner. The cab seats three people on one driver’s seat and a double passenger one, it is currently decorated with various London Breweries stickers!
It currently has branding on it, but they are vinyl stickers and can be easily removed.
