Where can you find a former Masterchef contestant and the BBC Good Food Show Best Midlands Street Food winners cooking up a storm? In Leamington Spa’s first street food market – Eat Street.
This new weekly market is a feast of local independent businesses and special guests from a little further afield in the Midlands.
The Eat Street chefs seek inspiration from around the world, mixed with local, quality produce. Hungry diners can savour dishes including bunny chow, burritos, pulled pork and spicy Thai fish cakes. Vegetarian stir fries and deep pan paella are also filling the need for hot, tasty lunches with menus and traders that change weekly.
Situated in Regent Court, in the heart of the town centre, Eat Street is attracting a lot of attention from shoppers, students, local businesses and visitors.
Maria Hughes, manager of Regent Court shopping centre said: “A street food market like this for Leamington Spa is long overdue, so we are excited to be hosting Eat Street. We’ve got some amazing traders lined up, which mean that we can showcases some local food heroes who are making good, fun, food accessible to everyone.”
